Hillary Clinton:
Hillary states that she thinks it is time that we balance family and work equally by giving women equal pay and paid family leave. She will do this by giving up to 12 weeks of paid medical and family leave. Additionally, she strives to make sure all Americans get at least two-thirds of their wages. Clinton will award no additional costs to business and especially small ones. The funding process will be covered by imposing additional taxes on the wealthy. (HillaryClinton.com)
Donald Trump:
The two main candidates of this year’s election; Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump both have nearly the same views when it comes to family and children. Donald Trump believes that parents of families should have the privilege to be granted “paid family leave”. (http://www.ontheissues.org/2016/Donald_Trump_Families_+_Children.htm) He also tries his best to stress the importance of family and how much it matters to this country. He also wants everyone who gets married to sign a prenuptial agreement because he said that he has seen way too many arguments over a man and a woman who were married and fight over their assets.(http://www.ontheissues.org/2016/Donald_Trump_Families_+_Children.htm)
Gary Johnson:
When it comes to vaccines for families and children Gary Johnson believes that it is up to the parents to decide whether or not the child should receive vaccines. Gary Johnson believes very strong in the fact that the father should be present in a child’s life. (http://www.ontheissues.org/Families_+_Children.htm)
Jill Stein:
Jill Stein wants to encourage family planning instead of looking down at abortion. She also wants to make at-risk groups to help prevent early pregnancy which will help keep abortion obsolete. “Reproductive health care needs to be an essential part of healthcare in general. Women's access to family planning--that should be the first principle of reproductive health care. When women can plan their health future, we can make abortion obsolete. Those who object to abortion on moral grounds ought to be promoting family planning and contraception as the means to avoid abortion.” (http://www.ontheissues.org/2012/Jill_Stein_Families_+_Children.htm)
